ITINERARY
Daily Lycian Way Hiking Adventures

Day 1: Kayaköy to Ölüdeniz 

  • Approximate Distance: 6 km
  • Approximate Altitude: 200 meters
  • Accommodation: Pension or Bungalow in Ölüdeniz

Day 1 Information:

Embark on your journey from the historical village of Kayaköy, known for its abandoned Greek-style houses. Trek through lush forests and enjoy panoramic views as you descend to the stunning coastal town of Ölüdeniz, famous for its blue lagoon.


Day 2: Ovacık to Faralya (Lycian Way Official Departure)

  • Approximate Distance: 15 km
  • Approximate Altitude: 850 meters
  • Accommodation: Pension or Bungalow in Faralya

Day 2 Information:

Hike from Ovacık to Faralya, where you’ll officially begin your adventure on the renowned Lycian Way. Pass through picturesque landscapes, including pine forests and rocky cliffs, before reaching Faralya, perched high above the Mediterranean Sea.


Day 3: Faralya to Kabak

  • Approximate Distance: 12 km
  • Approximate Altitude: 150 meters
  • Accommodation: Bungalow or High-Quality Hotel in Kabak

Day 3 Information:

Continue your journey along the Lycian Way, trekking from Faralya to the tranquil bay of Kabak. Marvel at the rugged coastline and pristine beaches along the way, and unwind in the serene surroundings of Kabak, surrounded by lush greenery.


Day 4: Kabak-Cennet Koyu (Paradise Beach) Ring Trail

  • Approximate Distance: 8 km
  • Approximate Altitude: 100 meters

Day 4 Information:

Embark on a circular trekking route from Kabak to Cennet Koyu (Paradise Beach), known for its crystal-clear waters and secluded location. Explore hidden coves and relax on pristine beaches, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the area.


Day 5: Kabak-Alınca-Ge Village

  • Approximate Distance: 14 km
  • Approximate Altitude: 750 meters

Day 5 Information:

Trek from Kabak to Alınca and then to Ge Village, passing through traditional Turkish villages and verdant valleys. Experience authentic village life and hospitality as you stay overnight in a local village house or pension.

Day 6 Information:

Embark on a challenging trek from Ge Village to Bel and then to Sidyma, following ancient paths and encountering historical ruins along the way. Immerse yourself in the rich history and natural beauty of the region as you stay overnight in a local village house or pension.


Day 7: Sidyma-Bel-Karadere

  • Approximate Distance: 20 km
  • Approximate Altitude: 800 meters
  • Accommodation: Local Village House or Pension in Karadere

Day 7 Information:

Conclude your trekking adventure with a scenic route from Sidyma to Bel and then to Karadere, passing through rugged terrain and verdant landscapes. Reflect on your journey as you enjoy the hospitality of a local village house or pension in Karadere.

Travel:  Recommended arrival and departure airport is : DALAMAN (There are winter flights available via Istanbul). Alternatively Transfers ANTALYA airports is also available to a minimum extra cost. 

Extra Arrival and Departure Dates:

  • Please plan to arrive one day before the trek begins and depart one day after the trek ends.

Luggage transfers & logistics : Luggage transfer on hiking (Walking) days is included and your baggages will transferred from departure point to the finish

Meal Arrangements:

  • Breakfast and dinner will be provided at accommodations.
  • Lunch will be picnic or takeaway food with fruits during the trekking days.

This itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions and group preferences.

1 – Meeting points : DALAMAN Airport & FETHIYE Bus Station ( Alternatives : ANTALYA or IZMIR Airports )

2 – The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per need and time frame of the party. Program may change according to weather and road conditions. Cost will be re-calculated  if the itinerary is changed or modified. Additional activities may be added as per party members request with appropriate additional cost. The cost may also be affected due to the requirement of number of guide and auxiliary guide.
