ITINERARY
Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL  TRANSEFER and ACCLIMATIZATION

Arrival and Acclimatization

Upon arrival at Agri Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the city of Dogubeyazit. Spend the rest of the day resting and acclimatizing to the altitude. In the evening, you will have a briefing with your guide to go over the details of the climb.


Day 2:  TREKKING : TREK TO BASE CAMP 1

Trek to Base Camp

After breakfast, you will be driven to the village of Eli, where the trek to base camp begins. The trek takes approximately 6 hours, and you will pass through beautiful landscapes, including valleys, gorges, and forests. Upon arrival at base camp (2,200 meters), you will set up your tent and spend the night.


Day 3 : TREKKING : TREK TO BASE CAMP 2

Trek to Camp 2

After breakfast, you will begin the trek to Camp 2 (4,200 meters). This part of the climb is physically demanding and requires the use of crampons and ice axes. The trek takes approximately 6-7 hours, and you will pass through the beautiful and rugged terrain of the mountain. Upon arrival at Camp 2, you will set up your tent and rest.


Day 4: TREKKING-CLIMBING : SUMMIT DAY

Summit Day

Today is the day you will attempt to reach the summit of Mount Ararat. You will start early in the morning, around 3:00 AM, to ensure you have enough time to make it to the summit and back before dark. The ascent takes approximately 8-10 hours and requires a high level of fitness and endurance. Upon reaching the summit (5,137 meters), you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After spending some time at the summit, you will begin the descent back to Camp 2. The descent takes approximately 3-4 hours, and upon arrival at base camp, you will pack up your gear and trek back to the village of Eli. From there, you will be driven back to the Hotel in Dogubeyazit.


 Day 5 : Onward Travel

After breakfast Transfer to the Airport for your departure flight.

Travel:  Recommended arrival and departure airport is : DALAMAN (There are winter flights available via Istanbul). Alternatively Transfers ANTALYA airports is also available to a minimum extra cost. 

Luggage transfers & logistics : Luggage transfer on hiking (Walking) days is included and your baggages will transferred from departure point to the finish

Lunch Snack : Lunch Box ( Sandwich-Fruit-Dried Fruit-Nuts-Fruit Juice )

1 – Meeting points : DALAMAN Airport & FETHIYE Bus Station ( Alternatives : ANTALYA or IZMIR Airports )

2 – The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per need and time frame of the party. Program may change according to weather and road conditions. Cost will be re-calculated  if the itinerary is changed or modified. Additional activities may be added as per party members request with appropriate additional cost. The cost may also be affected due to the requirement of number of guide and auxiliary guide.
