Nestled in the hills of the Mediterranean coast in southwestern Turkey, Kabak is a hidden gem that offers stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. One of the highlights of a visit to Kabak is the hike to the hidden waterfall in Kabak Valley and the subsequent walk down to Kabak Beach.
1 Day Kabak Bay Hiking Mileage: 6 miles
Your guide will meet you at your accommodation . a transfer car will drive us to trail departure point in kabak village.
The hike to the hidden waterfall starts in Kabak Village, a small village that sits at the base of the valley. The trail is well-marked, and the initial section takes you through a dense forest of pine and carob trees. The sound of running water from the nearby stream provides a soothing background noise as you hike.
As we continue along the trail, the landscape becomes more rugged, with rocky outcrops and steep cliffs looming overhead. The views of the valley and the surrounding hillsides are stunning, and the fresh air is invigorating.
After about an 3 of hiking, we will reach the hidden waterfall, a tranquil and serene spot that feels like a hidden oasis in the middle of the rugged landscape. The water cascades down a series of small pools, offering a perfect spot for a refreshing dip on a hot day.
After spending some time at the waterfall, the hike continues down to Kabak Beach, which is about a 30-minute walk from the waterfall. The trail winds its way down through the valley, passing by more natural pools and small waterfalls, and offering spectacular views of the surrounding hillsides.
As you approach Kabak Beach, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore becomes audible, and the sight of the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea comes into view. Kabak Beach is a secluded and pristine stretch of coastline that is accessible only by foot or by boat, and its crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming or snorkeling.
After a well-deserved rest at Kabak Beach we either can walk up to kabak will requires 45 minutes hiking or call down the transfer car and Meet the transfer car at kabak bay and drive back to the hotel. We will have a short photo break at a place overlooking to the World famous Butterfly Valley.
