Lycian Way Trekking 3 Day Fethiye – Kayakoy – Oludeniz – Faralya – Kabak

A short escape to Walk the Best Sections of the Lycian Way.

The Lycian Trail, which connects Fethiye and Antalya, is one of the most well-known hiking routes in Turkey. Amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea’s deep blue water, remote bays, undeveloped beaches, historic cities, rock tombs, and more may be seen while hiking.

Day 1: Meeting and Transfer

Arrive at Dalaman or Antalya Airport and enjoy your complimentary transfer to you hotel arranger Regarding to the Departure point ( Fethiye – Antalya -Kas- eg)

Day 2: Hiking  Ovacik – Kozagac- Kirme- Faralya

Distance :  16 km

After breakfast we will have A short car transfer to the beginning of the Lycian Way where you start your hike with spectacular views of the sea and Ölüdeniz lagoon. You ascend the lower slopes of BabaDağ (Father Mountain) following a paved mule path offering fantastic views of the picturesque blue lagoon of Oludeniz, bays, inlets and islands in the area.

After passing through the towns of Kozagaç and Kirme, we begin our descent down an ancient path to Faralya, a little village on the lush slopes above the Butterfly Valley. Dinner and stay in Faralya at a hotel.

Day 3: Hiking Kabak-WaterFall – Kabak Beach & Onward Travel

Distance : 16 km

Most amazing hike! Scenery constantly changes: from beautiful views of the sea to pine forests to impressive mountain walls.

The walk itself is beautiful. It may however be a little more challenging for some if you are not particularly in shape. This hike is an adventure that everyone sure to love!

 An enjoyable hike with views of Kabak valley, bay and sea. Plenty of shade.

The hike start with a little steep at the beginning 35-40 degrees uphill walk for 50-60mt. Than connects to the forest trail. Thereafter, nice and easy hike until the fall. Main fall is worth seeing if not too crowded. We will reach a nice pond first, with clear water. we will have a lunch and swim break here. The waterfall is hidden deep in the forest and is a small fresh water waterfall with a natural pool.

From the waterfall, we will follow the old river bed until that path rejoins the Lycian Way . we will get the the trail  where the Lycian Way hits Kabak beach.

The climb from the beach to Kabak town is via a path that leaves from the right end of the beach is uphill a tiring 45-60 minutes walk ends in the kabak village.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

Travel:  Recommended arrival and departure airport is : DALAMAN (There are winter flights available via Istanbul). Alternatively Transfers ANTALYA airports is also available to a minimum extra cost. 

Extra Arrival and Departure Dates:

• Please plan to arrive one day before the trek begins and depart one day after the trek ends.

Luggage transfers & logistics : Luggage transfer on hiking (Walking) days is included and your baggages will transferred from departure point to the finish

Meal Arrangements:

• Breakfast and dinner will be provided at accommodations.
• Lunch will be picnic or takeaway food with fruits during the trekking days.

This itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions and group preferences.

2 – The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per need and time frame of the party. Program may change according to weather and road conditions. Cost will be re-calculated  if the itinerary is changed or modified. Additional activities may be added as per party members request with appropriate additional cost. The cost may also be affected due to the requirement of number of guide and auxiliary guide.
